studio
The studio is available for hire to both photographers and models on half day or more.
The studio is one unit that has been separated to include, one permanent household set (Bedroom or Lounge), two end walls one with white paper background and one with black paper background and two side walls, one with a three-in-one holder for a choice of colours for the more vibrant images and one which is painted grey to allow for Low or High key images and is also suitable for the larger sets (e.g. motorcycle etc). The floor is part board part carpet.
We have a selection of lights/props/backgrounds and we are increasing these on a regular basis.
The lighting system is INTERFIT with a selection of heads to include Soft boxes (60cm x 60cm and 100cm x 60cm), white umbrellas, beauty dish, barn door, snoot, along with a selection of coloured gels and reflectors. There is also a posing stool and fan/wind machine. The background rolls are Colorama and Creativity.
Studio facilities
We have toilet and kitchen facilities (kettle and microwave – free unlimited tea and coffee).
For the models there is a small changing area with table, chair, mirror, heater and clothes rail (as well as an iron and ironing board). For photographers, there is a PC with limited Internet access and imaging software.
Studio use
The studio is available for hire to both photographers and models on half day or more rates (4 hours plus) as well as available for photo-shoots for models, families, pets or commercial product work. The studio can be hired with or without the studio photographer and is also available for training days.
Regular model days are run (one per month) with a new model each month (if this is of interest please send your email address to be added to the mailing list).
Register
The studio holds a register of models that are available to hire and this includes Male, Female and under 18’s (N.B: all under 18 models WILL be chaperoned by their own parents and the studio owner will be on site at all times) covering all styles, levels and genres, new models for the register are always welcome so please email me for the details required, (models, N.B, there is no charge to join the register, this is not an agency).
