This weekend I had the absolute pleasure to photograph the fantastic wedding of the wonderful couple Brian and Alison at the quintessentially Suffolk Brick Kiln Barn near Sibton, Suffolk http://brickkilnbarn.com.
I have photographed many an amazing wedding, but it still manages to make me emotional to see the way that couples lovingly glance at each other during the service, the heart-felt sincerity of the readings and the wonderful mix of laughter and tears during speeches, and this wedding was most certainly no exception.
The weather was glorious with beautiful clear blue skies and not a cloud in sight, the guests were in great spirits and the couple, Brian and Alison, were simply a joy to be around, at ease with themselves, with each other and with their guests. Their respect and admiration for me as their photographer was very touching and I would like to formally thank them for this: usually the wedding breakfast is an opportunity for me to take a few details photos of the food and then find myself a quiet place away from guests to take a quick break whilst I have a snack and give a cursory check over camera equipment, but not this time: Brian and Alison insisted that I join them at the table to enjoy their celebration with them which I thoroughly enjoyed – thank you so much, it was very thoughtful of you indeed.
Needless to say, I wish Brian and Alison the most amazing future together. They deserve every ounce of the happiness that they so evidently bring to each others lives and to those around them.
